I am excited to take part in the journey and I welcome you to Distance Learning at IIBT.

As the Dean of the Institute of Business and Technology, I am committed to growing to meet the needs of online students, and that is why I strongly suggest that you explore our website and our program offerings, and email us with your questions, suggestions, and ideas.

As I worked to obtain my education during the 1990’s, I used to dream about having access to a computer at home. In the 1990’s, computer ownership in the home was unthinkable, much less that we might have access to open, dynamic, and flexible learning environments via distance learning. Today we realize distance learning not only as a reality but almost a necessity with our busy schedules, challenging economic times, and global changes. Distance Learning provides students more accessibility to well-designed, learner-centered, affordable, efficient, and flexible learning environments. And ensuring the continuity of this learning opportunity tops the lists of goals I hope to achieve during my tenure as Dean of IIBT. I want to expand distance learning access to IIBT students by offering more distance learning programs.

As we expand our distance learning opportunities, we will continue to enhance the online campus where you can meet with other learners, have direct access to your faculty, and acquire help from Student Services as you plan your program of study with us. All these are accessible ONLINE, 24/7, at your fingertips.
